This is a song that got tons of cross-promotional boosts to put it on everyone’s radar, and it deserved all the hype. I need a dollar is the quintessential earworm.
Further listening: Blacc’s other hits include Nascimento, Loving You Is killing Me, and green Lights, as well as Wake Me Up, which he made with Avicii. All good songs, but I can’t say they’d qualify as GOATs.
